Apple estimates that about 1.5 million iPhone 4 units were sold on its date of launch. Now if I'm not mistaken, that's a lot of iPhones and even more than 1.5 million scratches, blemishes and scars that could potentially affect someone's bundle of joy. Imagine opening up to a brand new iPhone 4 and only to find out the next day that there's a massive scratches across the screen because you left it lying around for your little brother to "play" around with it for a while.
