In the translation service Google Translate adds support for new languages: Afrikaans, Belarusian, Icelandic, Irish, Macedonian, Malay, Swahili, Wales and Yiddish.

Update language Google Base service brings the number of supported languages to 51. This number allows you to transfer within the 2550 language pairs and contains all 23 languages of EU countries.

Translations from these languages are not currently distinguished by a special quality and basically allows a general view of the meaning of the text, but the developers of Google Translate promise significant improvements over time.
