The British version of Yahoo has moved to search from Google. The Google search engine will process user requests on the portal BT Yahoo, which was created specifically for BT Broadband, a provider that owns more than 35% of high-speed traffic in the UK. Yahoo operates the portal since 2003.
Among the various versions of portals, which belong to Yahoo, there are other versions for customers of major ISPs in various countries. These include the version of Yahoo for Verizon and AT & T in the U.S. and Rogers in Canada. In the event that these providers prefer Google Search, the practical realization of the deal with Microsoft could be problematic.
