AdWords will rival ad networks
Advertising September 1st, 2009Google announced new rules for advertisements, according to which the certified ad networks will soon compete with AdWords for a place on the sites. In practice, this means that advertisers who are not direct clients AdWords, will be able to participate in the advertising auction Google. Changes will concern advertising in the U.S. and Europe.
For sites involved in the program AdSense, the new rules would provide an opportunity to profit from additional sources, while the usual AdWords customers will have to make a greater effort to remain competitive in alignment with our clients networks.
AdSense site owners to give full opportunity to control those messages from any network will see it on their site. To obtain a certificate Google, advertising networks must prove compliance with standards on privacy, quality, advertising, and performance. With regard to the personal data of its customers, Google will ban the collection and use of data about users for any type of Internet advertising.
